This was an open to the public invitation held January 8, 2009 for all who were interested in becoming a paranormal investigator. It covered many important subjects including investigator guidelines, Dorbs v. Orbs in photography, types of hauntings, EVP and EMF as well an introduction to the various equipment used. Other sessions like this one will scheduled each month to help new member applicants of Texpart. A special Paranormal Photography training will take place at the Emily Fowler Library the first Sunday in April at 2 pm. Watch for details.

Finally! and hopefully not too far from where I live! I'll check these pages on a regular basis. Would love to get some education and possibly some training on the subject matter. Kudos to you, TEXPART, for the great idea.

Thank you for your post!! Our goal is to make sure that our investigators are armed with the best knowledge and training we can give. We dont want investigators coming away feeling like they know less than when they started rather than more! We will keep you posted as to when our next training will be in April. It will be a photography session. I think that we will also rent the library again in March to help all members who might have questions they need answered regarding equipment and investigations, the paranormal etc. I learn something new all the time and I think that is really what makes a great team...super team work from well educated, level headed investigators and a learning environment to keep updated. Hope to see you soon!
